there are lots of groups that help get streetchildren off the street and into centers where they can be safe, fed, clothed and educated. these centers do as much as they can, but with their meager budgets - it's all they can do to meet the kids' basic needs. what we at kidsmile try to do is provide these former streetchildren with the little extras that will hopefully make them smile. kidsmile brings them toys, bicycles and books. we take them to see ice skating shows and ballets. we treat them to a day of fun at enchanted kingdom. we figure they've had it rough, and all kids deserve happy treats.  | |||||
